Crown Charity Project
National Service Charity has partnered with Crown Realty & Management Corp. to organize a charity event at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge facility located on the Emory Campus in Decatur.

This is Crown Realty & Management’s 2nd year of sponsoring dinner and gifts for the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge facility located on the Emory Campus in Decatur. Each year the Hope Lodge provides hundreds of cancer patients with free lodging while they are undergoing treatment, saving them thousands of dollars in transportation costs and hotel expenses. There are approximately 50 rooms at the Hope Lodge to accommodate 50 cancer patients and their caregivers. 
Crown delivers a traditional Christmas style dinner to the guests, caregivers and staff complete with turkeys, hams and accompanying casseroles, salads and desserts. The guests are serenaded with Christmas Carols by the Crown Choir while enjoying their dinner. Crown also provides gifts for the residents. This year Crown will be providing blankets for each patient and their caregiver. This “Blankets of Love” project will provide each of them with a warm fleece blanket to cuddle up with at the end of a long, tiring day.
Crown partnered with National Service Charity to make this a non-profit event. Their goal is to raise $3,000 of outside funding in support of this project. You can support and partner with them by using the donate buttons below. Donations in excess of our project costs will go to purchase items they have listed on their website titled “Wish List.”
As a reference — it will cost $30 per person to provide dinner and a blanket.
